LEON ARNOLD FAULKNER
WYNN - Leon Arnold Faulkner, 54, died Aug. 2 at the VA Hospital, Togus following a long illness. He was born in Weston, Sept. 26, 1917, the son of Leon and Bertha (Austin) Faulkner.
He was a member of Pine Tree Lodge, AF & AM, Mt. Horeb Chapter RAM, and Pine Grove Chapter OES, and the Hamm-McGinley Post VFW, all of Mattawamkeag.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Dwyer) Faulkner of Wynn; two sons, Gordon of Vernon, Vt. and Clifford of Wynn; two brothers, Jasper of Wynn and Carroll of Old Town; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Brown of Gales Ferry, Conn. and Mrs. Esther Moors of Wynn; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln. Members of Pine Tree Lodge will hold a Masonic memorial service at the funeral home Friday at 7:30 p.m. Members of the Hamm-McGinley Post will conduct military services at the South Wynn Cemetery Saturday following funeral services at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday after 7 p.m. and anytime Friday.
