DOROTHY FAULKNER
LINCOLN - Dorothy Faulkner, 82, wife of the late Leon Faulkner, died April 9, 2003, at Colonial Health Care, Lincoln, where she had been a resident since March of 2002. She was born July 21, 1920, in Orient, Maine, the daughter of Asa and Elsie Dwyer.
She married Leon Arnold Faulkner on July 22, 1939. They lived in Winn all of their married life. Leon died on Aug. 2, 1972. She worked for Forster Manufacturing from 1955-1975. She was a member of the Mattawamkeag Eastern Star, VFW Auxiliary and a volunteer for many years at Silver Spoons.
She is survived by two sons, Gordon Faulkner of Summerfield, Fla., and Clifford Faulkner of Lee; and a daughter, Glenna Derrick of Canterbury, New Brunswick. Dorothy had eight grandsons; two granddaughters; and several great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service held at a later date at the South Winn Cemetery, Winn. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
