LILA L. SPEED
ENFIELD - Lila L. Speed, 77, died June 26, 1991, at her home.
She was born in Lee, Aug. 20, 1913, the daughter of Klein and Grace (Brean) Lowell. She was a member of the Enfield Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde of Enfield; two sons, Dale of Princeton and the Rev. Glenn of East Parsonsfield; one daughter, Grace Anne Bowers of Burlington; one brother, Don Lowell of Bangor; two sisters, Una Whitney of Lee and Charlotte Haskell of Bangor; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Clay, Stevens & Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Enfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Cleo Winningham and the Rev. Glen Speed officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lee. In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to the Lila Speed Mission Fund of the Enfield Baptist Church. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
