PARKER LOWE
Parker Lowe, 88, died Sunday at a local nursing home.
Born Sept. 18, 1883 in Pennsylvania, he came to Ellensburg in 1903 with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lowe. He was married to Ethel McInnis June 24, 1919 in Tacoma. She preceded him in death in December, 1963.
He farmed in both the Denmark and Badger Pocket areas before moving into Ellensburg in 1950. He made his home at 703 E. 3rd until entering a nursing home 2 1/2 years ago. He was a member of the Farm Bureau.
Survivors include a son, Keith Lowe of Ellensburg; six grandchildren; a brother, Clayton Lowe of Ellensburg, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Evenson's Chapel, the Rev. Donald Meekhof presiding. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
