1931 - 2000

SOUTH PARIS -- Kathleen Woodworth Hunt, 68, of Norway died Thursday, Jan. 13, at the Maine Veterans Home.

She was born at South Paris on Dec. 23, 1931 the daughter of R. Henry and Mary Prentiss Woodworth. She was a graduate of South Paris High School wih the class of 1950. She had worked for many years with her husband Nate at Katies Kitchen in West Paris. She liked plants, singing, and poetry and was a great cook. She had served as President of Women in Business. She married Nathan Hunt on Dec. 31, 1951.

She is survived by her husband of Norway; two daughters, Kathleen and Tom Jordan of South Paris, Lynda and Scott Hamilton of Norway; two sons, Stephen and Marie of Waterford, and Nathan Edwin of Norway; two brothers, Raymond Woodsworth of Otisfield, James Woodworth of woodbury, NJ; two sisters, Florence Cairns of North Waterford, and Geneva Holahan of Durango, Colo.; eight grandchidren;

She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Emerson; and a brother, Robert Woodworth.

Funeral Notices

HUNT -- Died in South Paris January 13, 2000 Kathleen Woodworth Hunt age 68 of Norway. Funeral servies will be held at 1:00pm Monday January 17 at the Weston-Chandler Funeral Home, 45 Main St, South Paris with Joseph Perham officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Annex in the spring. Family and friends may attend a visitation from 6:00-8:00pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Donations in Katie's memory may be sent to the Alzheimer's unit at the Maine Veterans in South Paris at 477 High St.
