Melvin W. (Cotton) Goff
Melvin W. (Cotton) Goff, 62, of 1725 Vt. St., died unexpectedly this morning at the home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Ramsey Funeral Home.
Goff, a lifetime resident of this area, had been a car salesman here for more than 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Goff of the home, two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Larrabee of the home and Mrs. Ann Behnke of Longmont, Colo.; a son M. Ward Goff of the home; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Morris of Hyde Park, N.Y.; two brothers, Ivan Goff of Harrisburg, Pa. and Marlon A. Goff of Long Beach, Calif.

Melvin W. (Cotton) Goff
Funeral services for Melvin W. (Cotton) Goff, 62, who died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Rumsey Funeral Home Chaple. He had been a longtime resident of this area and had been a car salesman here for more than 40 years.
Rev. Harold G. Barr will be in charge of funeral services. Burial will be on Oak Hill Cemetery. American Legion graveside services are to be held.
He had lived at 1725 Vt. St. and had not been sick. He was serving as commander of the newly organized Jayhawk Barracks, an organization of World War I veterans.
