Mrs. Maude Gowen Hayes, age 82, died Tuesday in the home of her daughter
Mrs. Albert H. Lindsay at South Deerfield where she has made her home for 10 months.
She was the widow of Edward J. Hayes, formerly of Freeport in Maine.
She attended Monmouth Academy.
She was former president of the Freeport Women's Club; member of Freeport O.E.S;
and Pythian Sisters; and, president of the Congregational Church Ladies Circle.
Interment in Burr Cemetery.
