WINN -- Mildred C. Carey, 88, wife of the late Henry Carey, died Nov. 3, 1992, in Lincoln.
She was born in Sherman, June 19, 1904, the daughter of Hugh and Myrtle (Shean) Hurlbert.
She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Afholderbach of Edinberg, Rebecca Martin of Hampden and Eldora Merrill of Long Beach, Wash.; five sons, Carl, Delmont and Norman, all of Howland, LeRoy of Zephyrills, Fla., and Theodore of West Enfield; one brother, William Hurlbert of Oklahoma; and one sister, Mary Grant of Abbot; 23 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by twins, Percy and Perlie.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Clay, Stevens & Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Russell Jarvis officiating. Burial will be in East Winn Cemetery.
