MONMOUTH -- Mabel Dorcas Turner, 92, died Wednesday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Manchester, N.H.
She was born March 20, 1875, in Monmouth, the daughter of William and Allura Bishop Canwell. Mrs. Turner was educated in Monmouth schools and in 1899 was married to Budd Turner who died in 1957. She was a member of the North Monmouth Community Church and was a life member of Boynton Chapter, OES, Monmouth, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW of Winthrop.
Surviving are a son, Errold, and a daughter, Mrs. Austin Carter, both of Manchester, N.H.
DIED -- In Manchester, N.H., Nov. 15, Mabel Dorcas Turner, age 92. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Bragdon-Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth, where friends may call Thursday evening. Interment Leeds Cemetery.
