Budd W. Turner

MONMOUTH -- Budd W. Turner, 82, a resident of North Monmouth for the past 38 years, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Austin Carter, 101 Sherburne St., Manchester, N.H.

Born in Wayne, June 21, 1874, son of Mellen and Louise Cushman Turner, he was a retired railroad employee. In 1899, he married Mabel Canwell of Monmouth. He worked on the Somerset Line in Portland and Rumford Falls and for the Maine Central Railroad. He was a member of Waterville Lodge AF & AM.

Surviving besides his widow are a daughter, Mrs. Leila Carter; a son, Errold, both of Manchester, N.H.

DIED -- At Rumford [sic], May 14, Budd W. Turner, aged 82 years. Funeral services at the late residence, North Monmouth Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment Lothrop Cemetery [sic], Leeds.
