EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. -- Edward F. Wellman, III, 58, formerly of Lewiston, died Saturday, Sept. 7, at his home.
Born in Lewiston, he was a yacht captain at Essex, Conn., and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was a graduate of Valley Regional High School at Deep River, Conn. and also attended Nichols College at Dudley, Mass.
Mr. Wellman moved to East Longmeadow three years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Marcia E. Wellman of Branford, Conn., and Amanda A. Wellman of Washington, D.C.; his mother, Madeline McIlroy Wellman of East Longmeadow.
