Beverly Sylvester
MANCHESTER -- Mrs. Beverly A. Sylvester, 51, died Wednesday night at the Kennebec Valley Medical Center after a lingering illness.
She was born Sept. 24, 1929 at Winthrop, the daughter of Walter and Annie Lindsay Stockford. She was educated in Winthrop schools and attended Farmington Normal School. She was a member of Manchester Community Church. In 1949, she married Ralph Sylvester at Winthrop.
Survivors include her husband at Manchester; one son Brian Sylvester; three daughters, Mrs. Jane Tirone, Plymouth, N.H., Mrs. Deborah Jackson, Winthrop, and Mrs. Susan Murphy, Augusta; two sisters, Mrs. Margueritte Kenney, Topsham and Mrs. Virginia Williams, Winthrop, and six grandchildren.
