MONMOUTH - Guy William Edwards, 37, died Monday at the Maine Medical Center, Portland.
Born March 19, 1940 at Lewiston, he was the son of Norman and Eleanor Nichols Edwards. He was educated in Monmouth schools and was graduated from Lewiston High School. In 1967, he married the former Carol Rice at Pembroke. He was a member of the Monmouth Fire Department, Monmouth Lodge, AF and AM and the Conchnewagan Trail Blazers. He was employed as a tool salesman until retirement in 1975.
Surviving are his widow; a son, Norman, and a daughter, Christina, both of Monmouth; and a brother, Lehan of Winthrop.
