Laura Mower
GREENE -- Laura B. Mower, 92, died at her home on the Quaker Ridge Road late Saturday night.
She was born Jan. 27, 1886, in Leeds, the daughter of Winfield S. and Elvira E. Rackley Bishop. Mrs. Mower was educated in Leeds schools and in 1906 she was married to Seward Mower at Monmouth. He died in 1956. She was a member of Androscoggin Grange and the Keene's Corner Baptist Church. For many years she was proprietor of a flower gift shop.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Chateauvert, Miss Doris Mower and Mrs. Dell Reed, all of Greene; two sons, Dwinald and Dwight Mower of Greene; 14 grandchildren; 36 great grandchilren; and 18 great great grandchildren.
