SEWARD F. MOWER
GREENE -- Seward F. Mower died at his home Monday night after several years of ill health.
He was born in Greene, March 23, 1881, the son of Wilbur and Esther Longley Mower and made his home all his life at the place of his birth. He married the former Laura Bishop of Leeds on Jan. 1, 1906 and was employed as a farmer.
Besides his widow, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Chateauvert, Miss Doris Mower and Mrs. Bell Farris; two sons, Donald and Dwight Mower, all of Greene; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
DIED -- In Greene, Seward Francis Mower. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church in Greene Wednesday at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the Bragdon & Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth Tuesday evening. Interment Valley Cemetery, Greene.
