Carroll Chateauvert
GREENE -- Carroll (Zeke) Chateauvert, 39, died Friday at the CMG Hospital after a long illness.
He was born June 26, 1928, in Lewiston, the son of Elzior and Dorothy Mower Chateauvert. He was educated in Greene and graduated from Lewiston High School. Mr. Chateauvert married Doris Durgin in Turner in 1947. He was a member of the Androscoggin Grange here, the Men's Club and the Greene and Monmouth Lodge AF and AM. He was employed by the B.E. Motor Express, Auburn.
Surviving are his widow of Greene; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Pottle, Gardner, Miss Donna Chateauvert, Bangor and Miss Joan Chateauvert, Greene; a son, Leland of Greene; two grandchildren; his mother and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Laura Mower, both of Greene; two brothers, Richard of Greene and Conrad of Sabattus; and six sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Buckley, Lansing, N.Y., Mrs. Mary Pourier, Sabattus and Mrs. Janice Brewer, Mrs. Glenice Bubier, Mrs. Elaine Knowles, Mrs. Dell Farris, all of Greene.
DIED -- In Lewiston, March 29, Carroll (Zeke) R. Chateauvert of Greene. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Bragdon-Flanders Funeral Home where friends may call Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monmouth Lodge AF & AM no. 110 will officiate. In lieu of flowers, friends please make donations to the Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Fund in care of Mrs. Mildred Rideout of Greene. Interment Valley Cemetery later in the spring.
